Lots o' pictures.
Nov. 20th, 2007 12:31 pmI have a sewing machine, but I haven't done anything with it in a long long time. I've had a few days off from work and I got into this big ferret hammock kick. After getting a new giant cage I've gone to town making all kinds of little hammocks and sleeping sacks. Just squares, stuck together. Rings though the corners. Nothing amazing, but more than I'd done in ages with that machine.
Toad's like "'eh, it's alright. I GUESS."

Well last night like many nights I was looking at saddle pads online and I thought to myself "I should try and make one!"
So at nearly eleven pm I went off to the store and got crap to try and make an English saddle pad. Thankfully when I got home
ugotogal was online. She is AWESOME and made a tiny cat size saddle pad and took pictures of the steps. Gave me an excellent idea of what I should be trying to do. I didn't have a pattern just my current saddle pad to give me an idea of size.
It's not great, I don't even know if I'll use it. It's thicker than my current store bought saddle pad though. Blah blah blah I ramble.
Picture are behind the cut.

I had enough nylon strap to make the billet straps but not the girth straps.

Yehaw!

That's it! It's so crooked. I am suppose to go riding tonight, so maybe I'll get a picture of it on a big charming Tennessee Walking horses back.

The End.
Thanks for looking!
