First Purse

Hehe, I made something today... A purse! I made a skirt earlier this week but I haven't finished up the accessories yet... This is definitely my most complex project I've worked on, I'm actually really surprised it came out so nice *___*

It's for a gift exchange on another community... I bought this cute fabric for a different project/present, but changed my mind and used it for this instead :)





Pin tucks or something XD I just kinda guessed on that part.

So yeah. I'M REALLY PROUD OF THIS CAN YOU TELL?? I made up an easy-peasy pattern after looking at some other purse tutorials. And this is only my second real sewing project ^^ It was really fun to make too, as opposed to the aforementioned skirt which seemed to take forever...

Looking at the pics now I think I should have sewn the straps to the outside of the bag, or between the layers, but it made sense to me at the time to put them inside... ah well. The design has some flaws as well, but I don't care, I'm really happy with how it came out XD My ego inflated like a billion times since I finished this, hahaha~

I just hope my swap partner likes it ^^
