A Lucky Charm and a few other things...
Dec. 6th, 2007 04:18 pmFirst, I'll show you the necklace I made.
It's made of very simple materials: flat glass marbles, "9001" craft glue, and a 4 leaf clover.

From the front. Unfortunately there are air bubbles that mysteriously formed between the marbles. I almost like the way it looks with them, but would love to know how to get them to NOT be there. When I do the magnets, it doesn't happen.

from the side, you can see the two separate flat marbles, simply glued together with the clover in the center and then wrapped in silver wire and added to a chain.
Unfortunately the pictures do the necklace no justice. It's very basic and simple and I love it.
Next, I wanted to share one more of the christmas cards I made using the wax resist method.

This is the one my mom saw and said "oooh, send that one to me!!" So I did.
The others are here if you're interested or if you missed it.
Finally, an update on Eli, my sister's kitty. He got the package filled with all the goodies I'd made him and my sister has been sending me phone pics of him playing.
Here are two:

playing with the catnip stuffed mouse

playing with the "dead bird" which she says he DOES carry around like an actual bird.
