Christmas Crafts!
Dec. 7th, 2007 02:09 amThis is my first post, so hello out there!
It's looking more and more like Christmas at my house and what better way is there to decorate than with crafts? My camera is broken (I'm getting one for Christmas though!) so all I have are these camera phone pictures! They don't do the crafts justice though. Enjoy!

nbsp;My mom bought this little kit that made these "place mats" but we decided to hang them. I wanted us to put our names on them to make our home more family-like. I recently moved in with my boyfriend until we find a place and my sister was kicked out of her place. So in the midst of hard times, I wanted us all to come together and enjoy the holidays.
Here is the one I made for me, heehee!
This is the one I made my boyfriend.
One of the candles my mom embellished for her coworkers.
The holidays aren't complete without Christmas cards! My main forte is embossing cards and I hope to start scrapbooking after Christmas. You can't tell, but the green paper is a scrapbook background with raised Christmas trees. The stamp is raised with those foam mounts to give it that cool 3D effect! This was the test card, and I'm pretty proud of it!
The inside. I may alter the design on other cards.
My "mark"...a bit blurry, but silver and metallic colors look the best to me when embossed.
Thanks for looking around! Hopefully I can get better pictures next time.
