It was a moonlit night, your eyes shone red -- or was it just the wine?
Fingerprint left on shattered glass, we're just another case in the files.

When I first started claying I decided to experiment with caning. I made a simple black and white jellyroll but didn't have a blade sharp enough. In frustration I set the cane aside and forgot about till yesterday when I was cleaning out my clay basket.

Unfortunately months of sitting under blocks of clay had caused stretching and distortion.

I went ahead and covered some bases anyways just to see what would happen -- TA DA! They look like fingerprints, yes?



I went with cubes and pyramids for a geometric contrast. I think this may be my fav piece yet!
