craftgrrl | Kenmore Half-size Sewing Machine: Model 117033

Hi! I checked all of the memories, and I don't think I saw anything about this sewing machine. I also couldn't find any reviews online. It is the Kenmore half-size portable. My mom is getting me a sewing machine for Christmas, and she is looking at this one. Has anyone had any experience with it? I like the size and portability, as I am living in a tiny NYC dorm room, and will be for the next two years at least, so that is definitely something I'm taking into account. Have you used it? Have you had any problems with it? Oh, and does it reverse stitch? I couldn't find out if it does, though I get the feeling it would.
