craftgrrl | gift idea? (for comfort during mourning)

need help with some gift suggestions (NOT for the holidays) please.

my bestfriend's bf passed away a few days ago at the young age of 29. what can i make her to comfort her but not remind her too much of him that will make her sad?

i've been kept busy the last few days spending lots of time with her, so i wasn't able to sneak away and make anything crafty.

maybe something not so time consuming, as i don't have a lot of time.

i can crochet and sew (with limited amount of skill) and craft.

maybe somebody can point me in the direction of an amigurumi angel pattern?
