Hi! I'm really new to sewing -- I just got a Brother LS-30 for Christmas from a family friend. Along with it, they gifted some fabric and two 14" x 14" pillows as my first project. Question and images under the cut...

I'm completely at a loss as far as where to start! From what I've gathered from watching HGTV decorating shows, I can turn two 14.25" squares upside down so that the print is facing down and sew around the edges so that the seem is inside -- leaving one side open for pillow insertion after I flip it so the print is outside again. Does this sound right?

Here's the pillow and the fabric, just so this isn't imageless! :)
