craftgrrlRemember this post from Friday? Well, I washed the shawl gently in the bath tub...took about a half a dozen rinses to get the excess dye out of it since it was a "handpainted" yarn. Hung it up to dry... got impatient. Tossed it in the dryer to fluff it up a bit... forgot about it... pulled it out and tried it on... and winced... It SHRUNK! OK... now what???

With the addition of the closures, it's just about perfect since the intended recipient's computer is in a poorly insulated area of the house. And at about 1/4" thick, it's REALLY WARM!!!
I hope she likes it.
