hey all!
i've been working on some various crafts over break and i thought i would share, since i post very infrequently. t-shirts, earrings, vintage dress, vinyl bag!
i made some spanish t-shirts for friends that studied abroad with me in madrid last year:

give me, give me more! all of these designs are freehanded, and made using freezer paper and fabric paint.

all dancing requires a little bit of glam.

this one i made for my friend who shares a dying love for the scissor sisters with me. and she especially loves babydaddy, obviously, though i'm partial to jake shears.

this was my big project for the day, i added some details to a vintage tent dress i had lying around. it's too big for me, but i hope to find someone who will love it since i think it's pretty rad.

detail of the yo-yo (i've been obsessed with these lately) flowers on the bottom of the dress.

i think the bows are my favorite part. i love bright fabrics and i'm not afraid of mixing them in regards to clothing, or really anything.

yo-yo and button earrings i experimented with. i like the green yo-yos the best, and am not sure the hanging button ones are going to stay since i just tied the fishing line to the findings. i don't know much about jewelery making.

finally, i needed a new bag for my toiletries (my pekkle one is going to pieces, sadly!), so i picked up some vinyl and sort of haphazardly sewed it together. the pocket is from this fabric i got at salvation army that i've always wanted to use. the handles are red velvety ribbon--think christmas wreaths.
thanks for looking chicas!
