Mar. 31st, 2003 01:47 pmI'm in a bind. I've made t-shirt transfers and they turned out pretty ok. It stuck on well to my shirt and hasn't peeled or faded or started to break down at all. Of course I wear the shirt about 2 times before I wash it in order not to wash it so much. I wash it inside out with cold water.
What I'm thinking is, I'm not grasping this concept of silk screening at all, and I think with my ability I should stick to transfers.
So then I was thinking of buying a transfer machine, (I wanted to start a small business) and I found ones for a couple thousand, ones for a thousand, and one for just under 300! Now, I used a flat iron and concrete for my shirt and I like I said it turned out ok, so I wonder if I should go ahead and trust this 300 dollar one, or save my bucks and get the 1,000 dollar one. Hope my business does well enough to make a profit and cover the costs.
Anyway, these are in my contimplations. Any opinions?
