Look, my first post will be me going 'derrrrrrrr'.

First, a craft: my cool bracelet: I made it by using the collar of an old MTV spring break (99 or 98?) shirt and opened it up and then sewed on the cherries and then made it fit my wrist and sewed it with elastic-y thread that I had. I felt cool. There is a less-cool shamrock one and a plain one as well. I wish all shirts had big collar area's so I could have 800 more....I suppose a chunk of shirt would work, too.

Next, a question. I just promised my friend I'd make her a purse out of this material, but I remembered I was really hoping to make a tie out of it! (It's flame-y fabric). Oh well. I'm still asking: Anyone know where to get a pattern for a tie or any helpful tips in going about making one? I might just steal one from a boy I like and trace it & add some to the edges. Anyone got some help?

P.S. I also make really cool Mike&Ike boxes bracelets. If it can be made into a bracelet, I will!
