Herro herro, new button designs to show off time

I like to make buttons of things I like, I recently became a fan of doctor who. I put off illustrating them for a long time because I found them a little intimidating, but now that I did it I'm very happy with them ^_^ Cybermen are my favorite doctor who villain/character/thing

I just finished a new set of buttons I've been working on the past couple days, please tell me what you think

They're villains and antagonists from the my little pony cartoon. The villains in the show are so colorful, over the top and entertaining. They were also -super- fun to draw.

I posted about the pony buttons I made a long time ago, and now I finally got around to making buttons with the main characters. I knew I wanted to do something involving the elements of harmony and I was sitting on sketches of these and another variant forever not sure which one to choose, it was actually at the last moment I ended up switching back to this design.

I always feel really satisfied making ponies... they're so cute XD And the buttons look awesome

Do you like pokemon? Because I certainly do (my username might be a dead giveaway here XD)
For the past week or so I've been working on cutesy vectors of all of the starters so I could make them all into a big mass of super buttons, here are my results in convenient bite size snippets.

Throughout the process I was putting a lot of deliberation into who my all time favorite starter is... and that would be chimchar. Chimchar all the way. 8D

Any wild guesses on what I spent my weekend doing?

If you guessed "making new button designs" you'd be right XD It's hard to find someone who doesn't enjoy at least one studio ghibli film, myself included! I love Hayou Miyazaki, so here are some of the wonderful characters features in different movies. They were really fun to illustrate.

I've always wanted one. I remember being in girl scouts and making buttons for our parents. I don't remember how we made them. I think it was pretty much just a cheap kit and didn't even include a machine to actually make the buttons. Anyway, I have no clue where to start on finding a good button machine to invest in. I don't have a huge amount of money I could spend on one but I don't want a cheap kids toy either. Anyone know of a good brand to buy and where I can get it? I looked on Michaels' website but either I looked it up under the wrong name or they just don't carry them. So any help guys?

i used a flat bottom glass marble because that's what i've got onhand.
i also have some round mirror i'll try next time, they were too big for this one.

Did anyone catch the latest performance episode of "So You Think You Can Dance"? I so badly want to make Karla's skirt for my little sister--she went absolutely bonkers about it.

Of course, she erased the episode from the DVR and I can't find a pic of it anywhere online. But surely someone else saw it? It was this multi-tiered, frilly, black-and-white thing that moved like water and was absolutely spectacular.

And just so it's not question only, I've been up to making buttons recently:
