I mean really, it seems like you can't go two minutes without seeing one.
Anyhoodle, it's been a while since I've posted anything so here's a bunch of pictures of some things I've been working on.
Thanks for looking, you guys, and I apologize to those of you with dial-up for all the pics.

A while back I got the book 200 Crochet Blocks, put together by the Interweave people. Here are some of the squares.

And some close ups of a few of my favs:
The Waterlily

The Peony

I forget this one, I think the Begonia?

My old roommate was having a rough time at work, so I made her the Happy Hooker's fat bottomed bag. I used a veregated yarn and a pair of purse handles from AC Moore that actually have a floral print, but they look kinda leopardy. I'm really happy with the effect.

I've really got to make a light box so I can take some decent pictures.
When I took my current job, I got to be trained by the previous admin assistant. She was really awesome and the ladies at work still keep in touch with her. Not to long ago her daughter had a baby shower. i didnt' find out until literally two days before the shower. I really thought the old assistant was awesome (and I like making baby clothes) so I whipped these things up in a few hours. From what I hear from the other ladies, I wasn't invited to the shower as I didn't actually know the daughter, they were a huge hit.

And this is just a large Granny Square, I made it big enough that it's perfect for a car seat blanket, but not quite big enough for a baby blanket. I only had one night, after all, and I did have to work the next day.

My cat is very picky (like most cats) but he loves my fun fur yarn, so I took the sock monkey pattern from Happy Hooker and modified it a bit to make some cat toys. This is Zombie Lion. He was alive, but the thought of facing the fearsome Count Osmond Von Fluffy Tits (my cat, who's a total drag queen, btw) scared him dead. Of course, The Count was not to be deterred.

He forced the Lion's soul back into his stitchy, corpse body where shall stay until Count Osmond tires of him. Mwahahaha!

And the back of the lion is done entirely in fun fur so the cat can really go to town. Not sure if you can really see it from this picture, but I'm not going to force you to view another pic.
