painting cords
Jul. 25th, 2008 09:46 amHave a weird question for you all. Is there any reason you shouldn't spray-paint electrical cords? I have Christmas lights wrapped in ivy and silk flowers around the ceiling in my home office/craft room. I'd like to tone it down a little, keep the lights but lose the ivy and flowers. I like the amount of light in that area, and the only other way to get diffuse overhead light like that is to install lights in the ceiling, which is a whole lot more money than I can really afford. So I thought, maybe do something with ribbon to hide the ugly cords. But it would really help if the light string didn't have dark green cord. I'd like to spray-paint them white so that they blend a bit better.
