T-Shirt Blanket
Nov. 3rd, 2008 09:42 amHello Fellow Crafters!
I am relatively new to the crafting world--well, not really, but I feel like I am... There is so much to learn. Anyway, I am in the process of making my Christmas gifts, and at the moment am working on a t-shirt blanket. I have the front all done--the shirts sewn together and all. I am just wondering what kind of backing would be best that would provide a decent amount of warmth (but not too warm because his body tends to run hot all the time) but still be kinda lightweight. And would help it stay sturdy. Also, is there a specific type of batting I would want to use more than others?
I am new the world of sewing, so any advice would be helpful... Perhaps some W.I.P. pics will show up on here sometime soon.
Thanks!
