baby beads
Nov. 13th, 2008 10:01 amI have a six month old baby who loves to pull on the little silver pendant I usually wear. While going through some old jewellery, I found a bracelet made up of about twenty chunky lampwork style beads. I was thinking of using them to make myself some kind of necklace that I could wear that he could play with and put in his mouth safely. I have seen nursing necklaces before kind of for a similar purpose.

For safety, I will need to knot between each bead. Any ideas for what kind of cord I could use to string the beads? How do I knot between the beads, like a knot with the beads tight up against them? What kind of clasp would be secure with cord?
Any ideas are appreciated!
Also,

He wears beads, too, amber teething beads:)
