sewing help

hi everyone! like many, long time lurker first time poster...i need help with my vintage kenmore sewing machine. I have never used a sewing machine before, but naively thought i could teach myself via youtube. I've figured out how to put my thread on the bobbin and thread the needle, but for the life of me cant get the bobbin loaded back into the machine and the thread from the bobbin loaded (I hope that makes sense)...any suggestions for website help for absolute beginners or anyone able to give a quick description? i should probably just lug the beast into my local sewing shop but im just too stubborn errr i mean busy :p thanks for any help!
