Holiday decorating!
Dec. 13th, 2010 04:59 pmI did some paper crafting on the weekend... my budget for decorating is non-existent this year, so I decided to use some materials I already had around the house.
I made this paper-circle bunting, and cut out some paper snowflakes and strung it all up on the ceiling. Dang, those things are fun... I forgot how great it is unfolding a paper snowflake! When my fingers heal from the Xacto knife, I might make some more. I love the way the bunting looks... I feel like I'm in Whoville!

Snowflakes and Christmas tree ahead...

I got this Charlie Brown tree from Freecycle last year. It was pretty sparse! This year I wanted blue and green ornaments, so about 50% of the ornaments here were handmade, including the glittered stars and snowflakes, the glittery green glass balls, and the turquoise starbursts. I've considered making a prettier tree skirt, but as you can see, this one at least matches the cat...
