Applique??
Dec. 15th, 2010 10:51 pmI need help and thought you all would be able to help me out.
I purchased a Bucilla Sugar Plum Fairy Stocking Felt Applique Kit for my daughter to make her a stocking.
http://www.amazon.com/Bucilla-Sugar-Stocking-Applique-18-Inches/dp/B000W7FZGK/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
I pulled it out tonight to work on it, and it says to use the "red packaged needle" for putting thee sequins on and the "orange packaged needle" for doing the applique. Well it only came with a brown packaged needle and a blue packaged needle (neither of which the pattern calls for).
So i'm thinking maybe they just switched up the colors?
The brown needle is shorter and fatter with a bigger eye...while the blue one is longer by just a little bit, but is definitely skinnier and has a smaller eye.
This is the first stocking kit i've done (and really the first applique that I followed a kit for...heh) so I don't want to mess it up. Does it matter what needle I use??
Thanks so much.
