Sep. 18th, 2003 08:11 pmOK- it is that time of year again. Time for me to get new shoes.
I am planning on buying white or close to white chuck taylors and then painting then with fabric paint. So my first question is: What kind of fabric paint would be appropriate for shoes? I need it to be waterproof, rainproof, and morning-dew-walking-to-school-proof, etc.
Also, after I paint on some funky colors I was (am hopefully) going to attach lace with a cool design and paint black over, hopefully leaving a cool black lace pattern with funky colors showing thru. Is there a way to temporarily affix the lace without it moving so i can get the paint on without smearing? Is there a way to cover the parts of the shoes i want white so they don't get lacy?
If anyone can help me, I would like to thank you profusely in advance. I'm really exited about these shoes.
