i'm very excited. i'm thinking it was written for younger girls (8-12'ish) in mind, but there are some fun things in there that i want to do-- like the net bed canopy.

has anyone ever used real fruit in a project? i know it's not common because fruit rots after awhile, but...well, i should explain what i'm trying to do first. for my final project in design, i'm constructing a baby from conception to birth. each stage is going to be put into a box that's going to be connected to 5-10 other boxes and will fold out onto the floor. and for the first stage, when a baby is just a couple of cells, i wanted to perhaps use peaches or some other type of fruit with a good sized pit. but i'm afraid the peaches will rot after a good time, and i know bloody well plastic fruit probably contains no pit. my other option is to just use the pit and construct the rest of the cell out of modelling clay (i am racking up a lot of modelling clay in this project).

My mom just gave me a coffee table...it's about 8 feet long, and 2.5 feet wide... Anyway, it's incredibly dull- it's ALL brown fake-wood paneling stuff! Any ideas on how I could make it awesome?

does anyone have any books on hemp jewlerry?

there's this one type of necklace i want to make where the knot looks like a sort of celtic knot, so the necklace looks like a rope/pattern.

i haven't found any books with that it in except for one that's $20.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i refuse to waste my money on it since i know all the other knots in it...

so if anyone can help me out with a link or scan in a page of your hemp book if you have one, that would be amazing. -thanx
