I made this necklace charm today, finally putting good use to the polymer clay I bought a few weeks ago...

So, I wanted to be a faerie. I wanted to make my own wings and such...

Lately I've managed to make my first pair of wings, some horns, and some hairpieces. I think the outfit I came up with is best described as a chaos faerie since the colors don't have much in the way of rhyme or reason other than I like them (all photos taken by [livejournal.com profile] tzizimine).

I ended up using watercolor on both the horns and the wings (the center of the wings is a darker blue, but I'm not sure you can see that in the photos). The horns I made from polymer clay. The hair is a combination of fake colored hair and rags. The photos were taken at Hampton Beach, NH.

Does anyone else own a knit-wit? I just bought one and am learning how to use it and was curious if anyone else had one.
