I just found this community and it's the first one I've joined. I'm very excited.
My first question is have any of you made your own stencils for spraypainting, and what did you use?
See, I'm gonna be spraypainting onto a t-shirt, which i've heard works if you just let it dry long enough (you guys know about this too?) and I want to put a skull and crossbones on it, but I can't find a stencil, so I was thinking maybe some cardboard would work? I just thought some of you might be able to help. Also, if I happen to not be able to draw a skull and crossbones too well, do you have any other suggestions?

Hey guys, I know we've discussed beads and hemp before, but does anyone know any Canadian bead suppliers?

HI I'm a font artist (my freeware fonts are at http://www.therapids.net/adultramblings) & I'm looking for help to make a few new fonts. I've been wanting to make a calligraphic font, but I don't do calligraphy, & I also would like to make some new funky fonts, like scrapbooking type of fonts, where people draw the letters funky. I know, not a very good explanation, sorry :(.

If anyone out there is into calligraphy or is creative to draw funky letters, please email me- I can't offer you money for your services, since my fonts are freeware, but I can give you credit in the font, & I'd be willing to make a font out of your handwriting as payment. I'd also credit you in the read-me document included with the font. If you know someone, please pass the word along, too, I'd appreciate it.

Also, if you are an artist & would be interested in getting your work done as a dingbat, I'd love to do that for you as well!!

All of the fonts I make are posted at my website.

Thanks

despite being not entirely sober last night, i managed to take some decent pics of some necklaces i've strung lately.

jewelry pictures )

though i've not decided for certain whether i'll sell any of this, it's possible .. i'd probably sell one of the set stones (and keep one), and although i love the ganesh necklace, i have too much jewelry, and don't think i'll keep it. if anything interests you, gentle reader, do let me know. mostly i'm just happy with what i made and wanted to share pics. :)

Recently I was at a big youth gathering and I got all the new people I met to write on a plain white t-shirt with permanent colored Sharpie's, but the shirt really needs to be washed, and I'd like to be able to wear it again. I'm curious as to how I go about washing it though. Is there something I can do to prevent the marker from disappearing completely? I expect it to fade, but I don't want to lose the messages entirely. Any suggestions?
