This is Eugene, the wonder gnome.
He is covered in duct tape, and built around newspaper.
He has a horn and wings.
He is 26 inches high.

and will protect me and my roomie from fred, the evil ninja squirell who lives in the walls...

New sewing projects, cut for people who don't care. =)
There's a fleece baby outfit, shaped like a chili pepper, a (very crudely) appliqued rice bag that I'm going to use during labor, and the breastfeeder's diaper bag, that someone posted the link to a few days ago. (Well, they posted a link to something on the same page, but this was there too.). It's a neutral enough pattern that you could use it even if you have no interest in diapers at all. It doesn't look that big, but it holds a lot!

Help me out, if you're bored and wouldn't mind reading a bit. Do these instructions make sense to you? They seem fine until the part where you sew all the cut fabric bits into one long piece and, it seems, you sew them into a spiral. I just can't envision this at all.

what exactly is modpodging (sp?) and decoupaging?

is it when you mix glue with water and just paste something on?
Sorta like paper mache?

LOL ...new terms for me ... *blushes* I'm new at all these arts stuff...just starting to find time and more interest in new ideas =)
