My boss just asked me to buy a dozen of these things for her. They're in essece, suction cups with a metal bar connecting with clips to hang papers off. I told her I could probably make it for cheaper. I'll pick up some suction cups and thin metal this weekend and try it out. Does anyone know where I could get the clippy things? Thanks.

Was anyone else listening to NPR today?

They had a segment on about how crafting is back on the upswing and they plugged www.getcrafty.com. In particular the commentator seemed really impressed with the crocheted skulls that they have on the site.

They were talking about how this generation seems to be going back to the ideals of the previous generation when it comes to gifting. (ie home made is better and more thoughtful.)

You guys have probably already seen this but thought I'd post a link anyway, just in case!

"How to Print on Fabric Using Your Inkjet Printer"

I realise we all know about Method #1 (Using T-Shirt Transfer Paper) but it's Method #2 I found interesting.

I would be really interested to see pics if someone has made empire style dresses. I just want pics and comments to them so I don't think the faq will help here.
If you think it would take too much room from the community just answer to this post and save the space for other questions in the main area.

Why I ask is because I am making an empire style dress in school right now.
Thanks.
