Hello again. I'm not really new here... o.O; I already posted here once with my other username, so uh... now you know? Anyway, does anyone know some good sites or something to make beaded bracelets? I want to make a bracelet like this one(or arm bracelet same thing x.x). I just have no idea how to make a bracelet that would even come close to that, so any sites please? Thank you if you do! :D

Arrrrgghh. I'm making a variety of items with white Sculpey right now. They vary in thickness and so I am having some difficulty in telling when they are baked to finish. The pieces I just finished and took out of the oven are firm, but still slightly flexible. I figured they hardened better when cool, but most of the first batch are cool now and still slightly flexy, not rock hard.

Trying to figure out if this is normal or not. I only ever baked one other item, and that was ages ago and it wasn't with Sculpey. It was some other brand. But it came out rock hard.

These pieces are still slightly flexy as if they aren't baked all the way through. The only problem is that the surfaces on some turned a purple shade, which makes me think overbaked. The label says not to overbake, but the oven I have is a convection oven that is evilly notorious for cooking food waaay too fast (especially on top, crisping brownies too fast before the inside is done, etc) and I'm not sure what to do. Should I put the pieces in longer? I plan to paint them with acrylics anyway once they're ready. So that odd coloration really isn't an issue.

Anyone else have any experience with the stuff? Any feedback is appreciated! I'll post the finished pieces later on.

Okay, I found the coolest little logo things in my German textbook... I really want to do something with them but need some help...

1. What are some cool things I can do with them?
2. How can I make them bigger? I don't know how to use my mom's scanner, but if that's the only option...

I was looking around for tips on how to take better pictures with a Polaroid camera when I stumbled across this awesome page on the Polaroid web site. It's full of creative ideas for using a Polaroid, and since some of them are craft-related, I thought I'd share it with the rest of you. Some of the ideas are pretty silly, but there's quite a few that look like a lot of fun.

Enjoy!

Just thought I'd make another post about my seed bead swap... sorry to be redundant but I want to generate more response than I've gotten thusfar. E-mail me with your:
-name
-address
-e-mail (if you want to be contacted to another address)
-your preferance of seed bead (remember this request may not be met.. but its a nice suggestion)

I'll e-mail you the name and address of another girl in the trade and you are to send her your old beads.. and someone else will be given your name and will send you beads.

This is SOOOOO exciting... I'm just really eager. Please respond!

tip: use a pasta press, hand rolling risks rolling the layers way too thin way too early.

i ended up using way more clay than i wanted to, but ended up with enough to cover a small box and make feet for the box.
