I just spent an hour in my husbands "office" looking for a cd I need. I still haven't found it...Does anyone have a creative and inexpensive way to catalog and store 1000+ cds? I'm going to go nuts!

Checked the FAQ section and I don't think there's anything like this on there.
A new store opened in my mall called Five Below, and they sell a TON of those clear glass/plastic/lucite rings, the big chunky kind with things painted on the inside so they see through. I LOVE them.
Like THIS, only see-thru, with the colorful design painted in the inside.
Anyway if you know what I'm talking about... I'd like to be able to paint my own.
Does anyone know...
1. If you can buy un-painted transparent lucite rings to paint on.
2. If there's any way to strip the paint off the already-painted ones.
3. What kind of paint I could use on the back.

If anyone has the slightest idea what I'm talking about, help would be much appreciated! I don't think my descriptions are very good.

alright craftgirlies i need your help. i work as a designer/stylists for a friends band and we are outfitting the back-up dancers for his next show. we want the dancers to look like fucked up barbie dolls, complete with plastic wigs or something of the sort. the clothes ive got no prob, lots of ideas for that. but im at a loss for the wigs. keep in mind we are on a very tight budget here, so buying something at the halloween store is probably out of the question. any cheap, crafty ideas? they need to look good under stage lights. thanks in advance!

Baby gifts

Hi, newbie to this community! I love all the stuff on here, it's so inspirational.
I'd just like some ideas and input on my lastest project if possible. A friend of mine is pregnant and I wanted to make something - so far I have decorated a gift box to use as a keepsake box, and two smaller matching boxes for a lock of hair and the baby's hospital bracelet. I made a matching photo album and I'm in the middle of finishing a mobile made of 3D paper stars. Does anyone have any ideas of what else I could make for the box, or cheap things I could buy? I'm having an imagination block at the minute. I just want the whole gift to be something that she'll love.
Thanks in advance xx ♥

well i am a newbie...some of you may have seen me talking in comments and such but i haven't had any pics to post or crafts in general. i gotta get my boyfriend's mom to pull out her sewing machine and show me how to use it, then retrieve his digital video camera from her so i can at least take digipics SOMEHOW. anyway, i got my own camera for photo class recently (just a regular 35mm manual one) and sean (the boyfriend) tried it out. i happened to be wearing my first stenciled tee in the pic. and since we DO have a scanner and i DID get that roll of film developed quickly i can post this for you all.

it's omar rodriguez of at the drive-in/the mars volta, NOT jimi hendrix. i still plan to add text to it...like "the mars volta" somewhere and a quote on the back from omar...something like "if MTV doesn't think 16 year old kids have the attention span for 12 minute long songs than they can give 'em their limp bizkit". i forget the exact quote...but yea. i know all you want is the pic so here:

p.s.- i also posted this on t-shirt reconstruction and i'm too dumb to know how to just post them at the same time...bla

I've got this need to spray paint things bright pink. I shall buy it soon and go all crazified like only I can. But I was wondering, is spray paint + denim cool? Like jeans....because I want to spray stars on my jeans, and I wonder if it'd look cool. In my head it would, but yeah...and then I'm going to pull a total craftgrrl and do some stencils on something....I'm not sure what yet. I'm thinking I want a Blink 182 bag. Wish me luck and comment ;)

P.S. Recent crafts? nothing too exciting, but I've made like 80 friendship bracelets and quite a few hemp. I'm out of hemp though, so I'm gonna buy some more...
