I painted the entire thing black and I decoupaged the outside of it with poems ( Sylvia Plath, Emily Dickinson, T.S. Eliot, Edgar Allen Poe, E.E. Cummings, Allen Ginsberg etc. ) I cut out poems from an old english text book. Although for some reason I felt really bad about cutting up poems. It felt sacreligious or something :P
I made a purse out of tapestry. Which wasn't very smart. I secored the lining, but on two places some threads got out, and it doesn't look nice. Any advice on how I should fix it? Thanks if so!
I wonder about more! =) Does anybody have any ideas on what I could do to my used batteries? I could throw them away, but I want to do something crafty with them!
http://www.yarns-and.com/Bernat/BNTbabyboucle.jpg I got this yarn today in Violet Blossom. It's awesome. It feels so yummy. My problem is summer is coming up and I want to make a hat that is airy. Anyone got any suggestions about what stitch to use? Or a pattern even? I did check the memories...thanks. Even a double stitch made it not as open and airy as I wanted it to be.
