My mom is an avid crocheter, and I'm not so great at craft stuff... but I'm trying! So, I found a really simple pattern and made her a crochet hook case. I used the elastic at first, but it looked crappy, so I took it back out. I just stuck pens and stuff in there to take the pics. Cameo shots of my cat in there cause she's nosy. And I'm also going to use a better ribbon to tie it up - I just used a piece of elastic for the pics.

Pattern found on the sewing section of About.com.

I made this mosaic mirror a little while ago, but I have never posted pics of any of my projects, so I thought I'd share this one with you guys.

It's just a mirror that I bought that was plain wood. I used old broken tiles and also grouted buttons onto some of the tiles to add a little extra detail. The middle part is a mirror and that's just my reflection when I took the picture :)

I dunno if this comes under the heading of crafty but it might be helpful to those who just stuck something in the wrong spot and want to get it off without damaging it.

I finally found something that actually takes stickers off! Better yet it doesn't harm the adhesive so you can reuse them!

Its called Undu and comes with a nifty little tool to lift the edges with. You can also buy a larger tool to use for taking off large items like bumper stickers and photos stuck in 'magnetic' albums. Its safe for photos too... I have been here slopping it all over the place on my wedding photos and its great. It hasn't damaged a photo yet nor the pages they were stuck to either so now I can finally personalise my wedding album and reclaim some of my favorite stickers that are stuck to a notebook that is on its last legs.

Its a bit expensive in the UK (£8 for 4 oz) and only available through scrapbook shops here but I understand that in the US it is available at Walmart and pretty much anyplace else that sells crafts supplies for lots less.

I'm sorry if this question has been asked or if someone posted about it, but i couldn't find it in the memories. St. Louis's anual Pagan Picnic is comming up on June 5th and 6th, i'm going on that saturday and i'm wanting to wear a skirt (a long one). I was wondering if anyone knows of a pattern or where to get one for a pagan style skirt, one for cheap also. Much help would be apreciated. if i do end up making it i'll even post it on here for everyone to see. Thanks in advance.
