sergers

I am looking into buying a serger this month. The sewing store near me, whom I trust, has said that both the Janome Mylock 204d, and the Janome Mylock 644d are really great, user friendly machines. I am a bit intimidated by the idea of learning to thread a serger, and was wondering if anyone has used either of these machines before, and would be willing to write me an honest review?

I have read some random online reviews of both machines, and niether one has gotten anything negative yet. There is about a $200 price difference between them though, and my money is a little tight.

PLAY ONE MORE FOR MY RADIO SWEETHEART )

Yesterday I took full advantage of a day off. Of all that I have done, this is my favourite one. Although it is just a ... what is it ... prototype. Numbers and spacing need some serious work and the edges need definite sanding. There is also another part, similar in size and what not though instead of a girl, it will have boy. Scrap wood just keeps lending itself almost perfectly without needing to be cut. heh how lucky for me.

I make and sell bags and I really want to sew tags into my bags.

Does anyone know how to make tags? Or does anyone know where I can order custom made tags from?

Thank you so much in advance.

Sunday is TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY!

So, I plan to screen print this on to a t-shirt:

(Probably not the same colors though.)

I think this penguin is pretty damn awesome, but does anyone have any ideas for what I could add/change to make this pirate even better??

I ordered my blank t-shirts last week and they still haven't arrived. Grrr... They better get here by today.

Okay, yeah I know... I am sure you all have seen the Capri Sun purses.. But I decided to post pictures of the first one I made for myself... the better ones I made are sold, and I didn't have a webcam hooked up before I could take pictures before selling them =/. Once I make more I'll take better pictures if you'd like ot see the others. I make Tang/Koolaid/Capri Sun. I also have a newer idea with Starbucks things and such... but you'll see that later when I get my supplies =D

Secondly was just a quick random idea I had and I just went with it. I took out the tarot card set I had and scanned pictures of them, then I printed them out on iron on transfer sheets... then put a liner in it.. and waalla! It's rather small but oyu know... it's sorta cute =/

Okay now for the pictures... they were taken with my webcam because I don't own a digital camera yet =/ So they quality of the pictures will suck horribly hahaha!

EDIT: sorry guys... i noticed that some of my linked pictures aren't working, maybe some of you can view all of them... but I don't know whats going on with it..

Does anyone have experience painting plexi glass?

I am looking to make some table tops but I would like to paint them with something somewhat transparent and durable.
I was thinking glass paints. Acrylic peels and scratches so thats out. Anyone have any other ideas?

Also I happened upon an idea today while picking up paint swatches (time to re-paint the living room and bathroom) and ended up taking a few extra... quite a few.
I have cut them into pieces and am using them to (ok, I forget the word for this) create pictures of things, designs and such.. on boxes, poster board, and basically anything else that could be decoupaged.
Thanks for any help.

Hii!
I have been looking everywhere, but I can't seem to find polka dot scrapbooking paper or wallpaper. I'm looking for anything black and white, preferably black with large white dots. I know that Making Memories has polka dot paper, but I can't seem to find a place to order it and the nearby Michael's doesn't have it. Please help!
