I'm looking for a place online to get a decent priced cute sweater for my dog, Mona. More importantly if at all possible I hope I can find a person online who can make her perhaps a hot pink sweater out of some fuzzy material or something. I know I've searched around on LJ and I believe I have ran across LJ users that make dog clothing but I can't find them now when I need them. Mona has a blue/yellow sweater but I would really like to get her a bright pink girly sweater for this winter so she can look adorable in it. If you know of anyone who makes sweaters or where I can get a decently priced hot pink doggy sweater, please let me know! :)

Thanks! btw, i don't think it will make a difference but Mona is a medium (she's a jack russell).

p.s. i've also seen those 'barbie edition' doggy pink sweaters...i wonder where those are at (besides ebay)...

Apologies in advance for no pictures -- I'm digital-camera deprived.

So, I play around with a lot of glass painting. I have this big vase, and I have a project book that suggested something to do with the vase. It was supposed to involve painting the vase a solid jade-ish sort of color, and then stenciling a Chinese calligraphy character on it.

But I had one of those "Happy accident" moments and ended up mixing the paint for the jade green a little too dark. It's way too dark for me to stencil a character on it.

But -- it's a REALLY lovely shade of dark green; think like deep, pine-tree green. So at first I thought I'd keep it right like that. It'd be perfect for a Christmas display -- they sell bundles of pine boughs and holly at a florist near me, and this would be absolutely perfect for that.

But I'd like to give the vase a little bit more detail now; except I can't think how. I'm looking for something really subtle, so the vase doesn't detract from whatever's in it. Red stripes just seems like it would be too much.

A goldleaf rim, maybe? Around the top edge and one or two thin stripes around the bottom? Or silver? Ideas?

can anyone recomend good online fabric sites in the UK. I want nice jersey for slinky dresses. ive found a few in the US but want to avoid shipping costs if possible. but then again if someone knows any amazing wonderful site anywhere else in the world where they have dress weight type jersey that makes you wiggle in your undies with its joyfulness i'll probably end up paying the shipping.

fabric makes me dizzy with its glorious potential :)

I need guidance, my crafty friends - have any of you worked with fake leaves before? I want to cover a dress in fake autumn leaves (you know, the faux-silk ones you buy at Michael's or A.C. Moore), but am concerned about getting them to lie flat and smooth. Sewing will take forever and will only tack them down at the corners; hot glue will be lumpy and heavy; textile glue seems like the best choice but I don't know whether it's strong enough to keep the leaves hanging on. Also, I want the skirt to still be full and not completely droopy.
Any tips/ideas/suggestions/experiences with glues? Thanks!

So I made a new purse yesterday that I am still very excited about!

I still need to put velcro, a zipper, or a tie of some sort in it so it can stay closed! what do you think would be the best thing to use? thanks!

Do you think it's worth my time to make a bedskirt? I'm thinking it may be cheaper just to buy one, since there's so much fabric involved.. :[
