i made this ( pillow ) for my roommate/best friend's 20th birthday. on the back, i sewed a little patch in the shape of a heart filled with mustard seeds, something to remind her of her beloved late grandma.
I haven't dressed up for Halloween for the last couple of years but the thought of trick-or-treating with my little sisters again was to great to pass up. I was orginally thinking of doing something along the lines of Little Red Riding Hood, but I realized that if people could see how old I am (23) there was no way they would give me candy. Luckily my creative gene kicked in and I came up with this:
So I've never carved a pumpkin before and I was thinking of writing something instead of putting a goofy face on mine. I wanted to put something profane but my dad said no. Does anyone have any creative, short, easy, funny things to carve into a pumpkin? It can be totally random and out there, or relative to anything. Thanks!
how do you suppose i would get the "spikes" to stand up straight on something like this? i thought about it all last night and i couldn't think of anything that wouldnt give it sloppy random stitch marks all on the hood. i cant for the life of me figure out how to attach them. maybe ive been thinking about it for too long . . .
I posted about these pumpkins in a reply and decided why not stick the picture up here as well, heheh :P I did themushroom, Judd did the goomba. We used the trophies in Super Smash Bros to get the picture reference.
