Nice pretty lionbrand.. no glue issues in this skein but I did end up with a lil knot where two ends were tied togeather.. thus messing up the verigated pattern nicely *curses* lionbrand jiffy thick & quick in Berkshires 214

I made this roll-up holder for my markers to save space and look cute! It's made from regular light-pink and dark-pink polka-dotted fabric. I sewed it up and sewed the little slits for the markers. I put the ties on there wrong (there should be ONE long tie at one end, not 2 at 2 ends). I've seen these elsewhere on the internet, too. It works great!

I made another skirt. Hand-sewn like the "black cat skirt" I made last summer, although I found out that I'm getting a sewing machine for Christmas (yippee!), so that'll hopefully be the last one. No more clumsy needle accidents! Well, I hope...

Anyway, it's a 4-paneled skirt made out of flowered scrap fabric. The skirt came out sort of country-looking, but I managed to Goth it up with my favorite black shirt and some stompy boots. :)

Pics of the skirt and some cheesy retro decoupaged Altoids tins. )

Hello. I don't usually get many chances to do crafts, but I visited my parents this week – that's where all my crafty supplies are – and made a butterfly hairclip out of those small pearls and wire. The colours don't show so well on the picture but both the blue and yellow beads are sort of transparent. It's not as big as the picture makes it out.

in my english class we have to do a project to finish our unit over ROMANTICISM. we have to make some kind of "scrapbook" that includes certain things we have to do. so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for what kind of things i could make the scrapbook out of.

i was thinking of something like one of those notebooks from children's books but with a book about love of something. maybe something like covering a book with a map of paris or italy or some romantic destination. or something similar to the postal notebook thing posted here by sharmelon

all ideas are appreciated!!!! thanks in advance!
