Jewelry

This question is not about making jewelry, but about what to do with it. I checked the FAQ and didn't see anything on the subject. My best friends mom passed away a year ago. She is finally going through her things. She found her mom's old costume jewelry. (lots of it). Since she doesn't wear jewelry she didn't know what to do with it. I thought it would be nice to make something out of it. That way, she can display them somehow rather than tossing them out or putting them back in storage. Anyone have any ideas? All would be appreciated. TIA

Well, this is kind of a strange request, so I'm sorry for that.

Today is my boy's birthday, and I realize it's a bit late to be stressing over gifts, but nothing I can do now. As sort of an inside joke, he asked me to get him a picture frame of us... with a 3D picture. Now, I'm kind of torn on whether or not that's possible. And if so, I'd have no idea on how to go about making it. So I figured if there was anywhere that would know, it would be here. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you so much.

Yesterday I got myself a darling little pet - a dumbo rat. Only five weeks old (they usualy don't sell them until they're 8 weeks old, but their mother wasn't taking very good care of her pups), so she (or he. Too young too tell) needs lots of attention and love and warmth, so I keep her (or him) with me all day. (S)he is perfectly happy to curl up in my collar but when I have to go outside, (s)he would get too cold, and I needed something more snuggily for him. Or her. Thus, I give you
the rat purse! )
Marilyn Sinatra Spookie Smith Manson Marlon (Spookie for short) still prefers to curl up next to my neck , but is getting comfy with his (or her) new purse, too <3

So I bought a whole bunch of spoons intending to make rings. I heated them up and tried to bend them around a mandril, but they didn't budge. Any suggestions? I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that they're stainless steel. Help!

Does anyone remember a room that was covered in paint samples instead of paint....someone posted it a long time ago in a community but I don't remember which one ...if anyone remembers seeing it [or if it is your room] I would appreciate it if you gave me the link =]

quick question...i want to paint the back of my denim jacket. i know fabric paint would work...but would standard acrylic paints made for canvas and such stay on or wash out even a little bit? if acrylics dont work, is fabric paint what people normally use? i'm doing one of those mural type things, not just a little picture, so i'd prefer not to use my small selection of fabric paints. thanks for your help!

Do any of you crafy ladies know what's a good remedy for getting superglue off of fingertips?

has anyone ever used iron-on letters? i'm attempting to use some on canvas and i'm having trouble getting the letters to stick all the way. i can get them to stick really well in some areas of the letter, but other areas pull up. i'm pretty sure i'm applying even heat and pressure. anything else i could be doing wrong?

i was putting iron on transfers on a shirt i was doing. i went to go put the ones for the back on, and my mom told me to put something underneath the one on the front so it wouldn't stick to the ironing board. so i did. unfortunately now i have red fuzzies in a checkerboard pattern from the towel she gave me to put under it stuck to the transfer. is there anyway i can get rid of them? their presence makes me quite unhappy. :0/.

I looked thought the memories and didn’t see any (but i’m not the best looker-for-er in the world) but i was wondering if there were any places to find stencils....like a photo-bucket of some sort or something.....You know that just have a lot of random stencils of thing....Sorry to be so vague in my askings.....But i was really wanting to stencil something soon and wanted to find some cool stencils.....thanks you guys! Your all so awesome.

Has anyone ever had anything professionally screen printed? I know it's pretty common to get t-shirts printed and things, but I was wanting to make my own tube tops with a certain saying on them. Could I bring them pieces of already cut fabric to print on and then sew them up afterwards?

I promise this has nothing to do with St. Patrick's Day whatsoever.
And I apologize if this appeared in your friends' page x times in a row.
