This is my first commissioned work, persay.  A friend of mine is a metalsmith/jeweler but give her a sewing machine and she's out of her element.  So it turns out she needs a sign for the Fishers, IN Ren Faire.  She asked me if I could whip up something and I did in less than three minutes.  I sewed and puffy painted it all today and my supplies cost me only $2. 53.  Gotta love Hobby Lobby, lol.  I do want to say, sorry for the wacked out colors.  Between the light and my camera, things were looking a tad bit goofy.

It is SEW cool! )

I read in the memories about making record journals but instead of doing that I thought of making a record cover photo album...

Just buying those refill photo album pages in place of using paper as I would for a journal...if anyone knows somewhere I can find a tutorial for record journals let me know:)

(I checked the memories first!)

Three new purses! I really should start sewing more, but I don't have as much room as I would like to work. For those of you in tight living spaces, how do you manage to work?

This bag too me forever to make because basically I had absolutely no idea what the hell I was doing, I figure it came out pretty well despite my lack of sewing knowledge. I made it based on this bag from brooklyn industries I just kinda figured out what is was made up of and sewed them together. I've never made anything this complicated, all i've made is a little zipper pouch.

I used some dinosaur fabric I had, added a zipper pocket on the outside, which kind of happened on accident. Here are some pictures

Most of these pieces include gemstones; emeralds, mother of pearl, lapis, gold stone, and tigereye.  Enjoy!
