I know I already posted about this but back then it wasn't done.

One more thing for the day...

I've had this AWESOME orange hoodie that I bought a few months back, and it took me forever to figure out what I wanted to put on it. Then I decided on this:

One evening & I've completed my first x-mas present. Don't tell my sister, Sheri, but it's for her - hehe. Made with vintage material on the outside and beautiful pastel polkadot material and clear vinyl on the inside. It's far from perfect but I think she'll enjoy it nonetheless.

Hey, was just wondering...

I have a big white bunny that I've had for a long time, but age is turning it brown, and no matter how much I try to clean it, it won't wash off. Any ideas on how to get brown age stains out of white furry animals? Am thinking though that bleach might destroy the fur.

Hey all. Here is a pic of my latest project. I just learned how to do photo transfers and I am pretty much doing them on any and everything. I made this for a friend, just cuz her BT has a white face just like mine! It kinda looks like a birthday cake for a preteen girl or something that you would find in Barbie's house. Anyho, I was pretty pleased with the end result....

so, my 20th birthday is next thursday, and while i was thinking of a theme, my friend thought of combining my two favorite things: the color pink, and pirates. so i will be having a pretty pink pirate party.everyone will arrive wearing pirate gear, but something must be pink, a sash, a shirt, whatever. we will them head over to our local indie rock club for some dancing. the guys have already agreed and think it's an awesome idea (they give into my little kid-ness all the time). but this is where i need you ladies to help me out... i need decoration ideas, preferably things i can do in under a week, and on a theatre students budget.

I found some great thrift store finds that I wanted to share with you girls mostly because I didn't have any idea that thrift stores actually carried these things/priced them so intensely cheap. More than that it really brightened my day (BECAUSE ENGINEERING SCHOOL IS EVIL) and I figure it might brighten someone elses to know this stuff is out there.

1) Fabric remanents. I've seen them before but never at a goodwill. I definitely picked up four yards for a dollar. Total. All of their remanents were prices a buck.

2) Patterns. For a quarter! I've never seen patterns at a thrift store. There were about a hundred. At least half were vintage. Granted, someone's already cut them and they might not have directions but they're a quarter! And I imagine they're great for anyone that uses scraps of patterns to create new things.

(I also found an awesome tie and Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt for the NES. I. Heart. Today.)
