The procrastination monster! He eats time!
Made him at 6am when I was bored out of my mind.
I made him out of my old slippers and an old handtowel. (+ black felt)

I stole this idea stole from Craftster.org

i have a friend with porphyria and i was wanting to make her a hooded cape/cloak made with black out material for when she has to go out during the day. can anyone suggest a good pattern, she is only about 4' 8" or so and i would prefer to not have to waste material making a long one only to hem a foot or two off the bottom, lol

any good suggestions? (btw im not the greatest sewer so simple stuff is better)

hey :)
i want to make a hollow book.
i read the memories (which helped a lot) but i still have a few questions..
would it be possible to cut the pages in a shape? i'm making it for my boyfriend's birthday (he really needs a place to hide stuff.. heh) and i'd like to make it a heart.. would that be too complicated? and wouldn't the inner edges be sharp after i cut the pages?
&where can i find pictures of hollowed books? i remember seeing lots a while ago but now i can't find anything.
&if any of you have more tips or suggestions i'd love to hear them :)

I haven't posted here in *forever* because I'm so terribly slack about taking photos, but anyway - here's some pictures I got together recently.

Hello All,

I've been crafting like crazy lately, finally got a chance to take pictures of some of my work. And I also finally got a sewing machine after many years of hand sewing. So, of course I had to try it out too.

i just bought these earrings and they are 7.5 inches; much longer than i expected.

since i hate the "threader" look, i'd like to reduce these earrings to 5" and add posts instead. so, the inevitable question: is this possible? and how would i go about it?

any tips or ideas would really help me out, thank you in advance.
