I have
this crochet pattern and I'm just not getting the stitch explanation and it's really bothering me. The explanation goes as follows: start with a slip knot, ch 2, insert hook in 2nd ch from hook, draw up a loop, yo, draw through 1 loop, yo and draw through 2 loops - 1 single chrochet with its own chain at bottom. Work next stitch under loops of that chain. Insert hook under 2 loops at bottom of the previous stitch, draw up a loop, yo and draw through 1 loop, yo and draw through 2 loops. Now I get it as far as inserting the hook in the 2nd chain, but then I wonder, which loop do I draw up? And when I draw up a loop, I end up with 2 loops on the hook at the end of the stitch and 1 loop just keeps being added with every stitch and that just doesn't seem right. If anyone could shed any light on this it'd be appreciated 'cause it's making me feel stupid. :)
