Jun. 13th, 2006 08:14 amRecently I was invited to do a home party type thing. You know, kinda like a tupperware party? It was to be me and 4 other vendors. I was the "bag lady" and the rest of 'em were direct sales vendors, jewelry, skincare, gourmet foods, and pampered chef. I really didn't know what to expect and all. Wasn't sure if this was the exact audience for my homemade goods. But I did really well and everyone loved my stuff and there was no table fee like a craft fair, so that was a bonus. It was kinda weird at first, being in a strangers house and interacting with all of her friends, for sure this was a circle where everyone knew each other. I was totally the odd man out. But that soon subsided and I had a nice time and I made some money and really I highly recommend this to anyone looking for another venue besides the craft fair circuit.
So needless to say, I spent the whole weekend up to the open house, sewing like a madwoman. Lots of caffiene and a darling husband to take care of the babe was how I survived.
Here are my latest:

( There's a bunch more right this way... )
So picture heavy, you might want to puke. Okay, well, I hope not.
