OK, so my boyfriend is in love with Dibs, little ice cream snack things, and he buys them like crazy. So I have access to almost an unlimited supply of these little red plastic containers, that look like this ). Now, I know I can do something with them, but I just don't know what. Anyone have any ideas? The containers are about 3" long, 3" deep, and maybe 2" wide.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions, and I promis I'll post pictures once I figure out what I'm going to do with them!

okay... hello! I just joined, and I have a few questions for you very helpful people!

1. I really would like to make a screened t-shirt, and someone mentioned a "freezer paper" method which sounded really easy. Could someone tell me how??? (and does freezer paper mean wax paper, or something different?)

2. My dad collected a bunch of really cool crab shells, and we want to make them into paper weights. Any ideas??

I didn't see anything in the memories....What is the best way to stencil on a bean bag toss board? I have a set of plywood boards that I have to prime still, but I have a stencil that I want to put on it. My experience with stenciling has been freezer paper on fabric, and that obviously is not going to work.....what will?

hi!

I'm brand new and yesterday I was cleaning out a closet and found some old scrapbooking stuff.

I also found a box of awful cards with even more horrible quotes on them.  Soooo....

I had some fun.

annnnnd since I don't have a crafty cat (I'm a college kid with a college apartment with a lease that says no dogs or cats!)  I've included my crafty TORTOISE!  haha

hooray for craftiness!

So I've pretty much decided what I'm going to be for Halloween, the Hollywood Reaper. Instead of taking dead lives, I take dead acting careers. I'm basically going to be a blonde socialite with a black Chanel(fake of course) cloak/cape.

The only problem I'm having is what do I replace the scythe with?

Ideas please!!!

Can you even buy Freezer Paper in Canada? I've been all over my city, in every type of grocery store, and can't seem to find anything other than parchment and wax. I want to do stencils on clothing, and I'd like to do it today. The closest Micheals is a city away, it's a Sunday so buses don't run out that far, and I have no idea how much contact paper would cost, or even if the printer would work on it any way! What else can I use?

Also, what ever happened to using fabric paint? Can't I just use that instead of acrylic mixed with textile medium? I may just have to run out to a Walmart tomorrow if nothing else. Is these something I could find these for cheap that would work as well as ironed-on freezer paper?

EDIT: Yay! someone in my city not only told me which store carries it (The Barn), but also which isle, what shelf, and where in the store it is. Hehehe. So now I'm curious about the fabric paint. Do you have to heat-set it? Do bI simply do this with an iron after it's dried? (proly with a towel overtop so I don't have it explode or catch fire or something XD)

You may remember me from asking about leather bracelets and rings for my anniversary. Well, I ended up going in a different direction. This is what I made for the boy..

I made a jewelry set using resistors for the August birthday swap on http://craftster.org/. If you are KristyGuna on Craftster, don't click, or you'll ruin the surprise! :)

Pics behind cut. )

Craft swapping is probably the most fun thing in the world. ♥

Does anyone know how to make scented oils, the kind that you put in a bowl and put the votive underneath it? Anyone have a tutorial or know some sites that I can get some good scented stuff to make it? I am wanting fall scented stuff like pumpkin pie, ect. I wasn't sure if it was just candle stuff or what.... if anyone knows anything about this let me know.... sorry text only i've not been feeling the creative juices lately.

I won an alchemy request on Etsy and made this necklace. I had to make the balls as well as dye the ribbon. Also, I have a request on closing a cage on a dice necklace.

I think the chunky silver necklace came out pretty nice. Once it came together I decided I liked it. It is to large for me to carry off but it is all the rage right now. As soon and she pays, I am shipping it to England.

My gosh, I finally finished it... sort of. Some of you might have seen this oh... sometime last year.  Warning! TONS OF PICTURES behind the cut (and they're large, so if you have dialup, please beware) , but if you like Custom my little ponies... and Alien... you might like this combination.

Progression shots! Clicky to see how it was made!

Am I crazy or did my candle post disappear? Not that it's super important but it's a little eerie.
