Okay...I had one of those days where I was careless about everything. Sewing things right side to wrong side and than noticing way too late. Sigh. But I was determined to finish it.

Now that it's finish I want to throw it against the wall and burn it.  Tongue

Comments are welcome as always!

Hi. I've been searching for sites with patterns for 3D beading, and I think I may have found one. However, the directions are pretty vague and I am only a beginner. Looking at this site: http://www.babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=fr_en&trurl=http%3a%2f%2fperso.orange.fr%2fmk.perles%2fcochon.htm, can anyone tell me what the bolded lines are instructing to do? TIA.

My parents and I are leaving for Chicago tomorrow.  My mom bought new luggage for them and so I made luggage tags.

I'm really proud of how they turned out but feedback would be lovely!  This is only my second post!

I like to carry a lot of things in my wallet (change, receipts, checkbook) so I need a big one, like the long tri-fold ladies' wallet. The problem is, most of the time those wallets are SO boring, or they make you look so old carrying one. I don't have the sewing or leather skills to make one myself from scratch, so I figure the next best option would be to buy a wallet and modify it into something young and interesting.

So does anyone have an tips or ideas on making a plain leather checkbook wallet into something cool?

Does anyone know of any craft shows/fairs/opportunities for crafty selling in the middle Tennessee/ norther Alabama/Huntsvill area? I really want to try going to a show, because I think I'd do better there than I have on the net, simply because I'm not very good at generating traffic to my site, but I've searched the net and craftster and what not and can't seem to find any in the area. There's a craft mafia? something or other group in Nashville that is wanting to have one, but they want you to sign up and they don't have a date yet, even though they're wanting to have it rather soon, so I'm not sure about that...any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Also, here's some projects I recently finished for some craft swap (lots o' pics): amigurumi octi's and bags and jewelry, Oh, My! )

I've finished up a bunch of bags and zipper pouches for the Fan Expo during the long weekend in September. Take a look if you want to....

My friend and I have a lot of robot jokes thanks to my boything. (He's kind of... robot-like? ^^; ) So I made some stencils to put on some blegh plain shirts that I have.

I've never made a stencil before or done anything like this so I'm relatively proud of myself.

Somewhere on the internet (possibly here?) I read about some girl who found a cashmere sweater in the thrift store and frogged it and now has some awesome yarn. Undettered by the fact that I live in Georgia and have never seen anyone wearing a cashmere sweater, much less found one in a thrift store, I had to go by the Potter's House.
Well, I found no cashmere sweater. In fact, there were no sweaters at all (do they put them in storage until fall?) BUT I found a really huge gold-ish colored silk shirt, so I cut it into pieces and made myself a silk pillowcase! WHOO!
(sorry, no pics as I can't find the cable for the camera, but they wouldn't really be interesting pics anyway, it's just a pillowcase).
anyhow, the reason I am posting is because I also found 6 blocks of Fimo for .50 each! they are all in different shades of brown and some of them are sort of glittery.
so my question is:
what on earth should I do with them? I'd love some inspiration!
Thanks!
