My boyfriend & I are going to make a Halloween Tree this year. I've started working on ornaments already. These are my first two:

I got the plaster unpainted ornaments at Michaels & Hobby Lobby in the Christmas section & painted them with acrylic craft paint.

I'll post the Halloween Tree when we get it finished & if it doesn't end up in the craft mishaps community. ;)

This is my first post here. I hope to be pretty prolific as I just spent $100 in craft & fabric stores & Fall is my crafty time of year. See you around.

I'm looking for some crafty, domestic help....if this gets deleted, that's ok....I just figured you guys have a lot of crafty ideas and insight that I might not have....

What can I do with this, how can I salvage it. The blanket is falling apart so much that there are constantly strings on the living room floor. James also likes to chew on it sometimes and that leads to string getting stuck in his teeth that I need to then pull out. Part of me says just throw it out, put the other part of me wants to atleast try and think of something else to do with it first. Any suggestions? I laughingly suggested this morning that we make it a wall tapestry of sorts in his room....then I envisioned him scaling the walls to rip it down.

Has anyone made a folded shirt card following Martha Stewart's tutorial? I don't understand the step from 2 to 3 - Could somebody please explain? ;) I think I can get the rest of the shirt. Thanks! :)

I have been making a ton of knotted jewelry lately... and enjoying working with weird color mixes. I'm such a sucker for odd color combinations.

I don't know how many of you know anything about BPAL (Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab) perfume, but collecting their scents is one of my (many) obsessions, and I've made some boxes to hold all of my bottles and sample vials (called "imps").

I have made two boxes so far to hold my bottles, but will soon be making a third since I have more bottles on the way. The larger one was painted gold and I mod podged the pretty red/gold/blue paper on to it. The smaller one was also painted gold, and I added a "crackle" finish to make the paint look old, and mod podged on some collage paper that had an Indian theme.

BPAL: Boxes

I also made two to hold my imps. The first one (decoupaged with sun/moon/stars tissue) holds my Limited Edition samples and the second (larger one; Florida theme) holds General Collection samples (and some Ava Luxe samples).

They were really fun to make, and I love how useful they are since they hold my beloved perfumes. Hope you liked my pictures!

hello again.

Longtime lurker, sorry. Anyways I was hoping to find out what your favorite crafty online magazines are (or crafty/DIY magazines in general). Zines are fine, new magazines too. I've started writing pieces for an online mag and was hoping to submit to some other publications, but I don't really know of any beyond Bust and CROQ.

Any favorites?

So this isn't text only, here's a link to my article (*pride*), with happy fun pictures: http://www.supernaturale.com/articles.html?id=198

thank you!!

This may sound silly, but where can you find metal rings (I'm not sure what they're called) for keychains? The part that the actual keyring part goes through. And, how do you attatch them?

(For mental help: http://i7.tinypic.com/26264pf.jpg - above the owl)

Sorry for text only. Thanks.

**Just to clarify - I'm not asking about the top ring (the spiral) that you use to attach the keyring to something, like a backpack. I'm asking about the tiny metal hole that is actually in the felt. Sorry for the confusion!

I made this for a swap on Craftster. I want to keep it for myself!

Does anyone hate making handles as much as I do? They never turn out how I think they should!

My latest finished object a little kitty blanket for my Cat, i didn't really used a pattern i just knitted along. It has got a ribbed effect that u cant see in the picture, and the reason is i suck at taking pics =(
But in the end its the happy kitten (senior cat he is 12 years old) that matters.

Has anyone ever used a DecoColor pen on clothing? It's the kind that marks with silver paint, by Marvy / Uchida. I want to add a caption to some shirts I just screened, and I just don't have the patience to make another screen or stencil... Thanks for your help! I'll post pictures when I've finished....
