Hey, so a friend of my friend asked me if i could make her a purse. simple right? wrong. She wanted a replica of her FAVORITE american eagle bag. She said hers is torn to shreds from use, and american eagle doesnt make that bag anymore. She asked if i have ever done this before i say no, but let me take a look at the bag.

its tiny and complicated! oh no! 3 zippers, 3 pockets! and a flap that goes over everything. of course i told her.. okay! i'll try! the other thing was that she wanted to use the old strap cause she really liked it (what ever i think i would have looked better with a new one, but oh well! not my bag) anyways. i finished it tonight. took about 3 1/2 hours but its done! what do you all think will she like it?????

MUCH more behind the cut )

Hey guys, does anyone have ideas on a neat but easy workshop to give? Nothing big like sewing, knitting or anything of that sort. Maybe something like how to make colored paper (with the chalk) or anything else! I have to give a workshop to a huge group of high school kids who have all levels of artistic ability and I seriously don't know what to do. Because teaching them how to draw a face.. is just boring. Thanks you guys! And I must say, I'm always so inspired by everyone's art here =). Oh and one more question, where can I get thick black thread the kind people use for necklaces because I don't like wearing silver necklaces.

It's been awhile since I've posted anything on here, but I recently moved out and now suddenly have more motivation to do crafty things and make efforts, and so my sister got a handmade gift for her birthday, and I finally surgeryed a tshirt.

I am working with resin and UTEE and would really like to buy some naturally expired dried butterflies. Even a source of ones that are realistist looking would be great :)

So the post won't be text only here is a dried flower embedded in UTEE.

While recovering from surgery, I've been busy making thank you cards for all the people who sent flowers and stuff!

Does anyone have the link to those beautiful necklaces someone made with resin, a cicada wing, lotus roots and other stuff? I forgot to bookmark =(
