Well I made a little flower this weekend. It's made out of purple sparkly felt and a pink button. Here are some photos, click to enlarge:Click To See The Flowery-Ness )

What kind of adhesive works best for rubber? I tried to attach some pins to rubber with some E6000 and that doesn't seem to be working too great.

Hey all of you crafty people! I have a question that i am hoping you can help me out with.

I got the boy that i'm kind of seeing a ton of ear plugs as one of his birthday presents. I figured that a really neat way to give them to him would be to put them in a tin that had ears painted on it.

My question....will acrylic work on metal? Or do i have to use another kind of paint. The closest thing i found in the memories was about painting a bike (paint on metal).

Thank you guys in advance!

Hello all,

I'm getting started on my Medusa costume for halloween and I wonder if I might get some thoughts, opinions, whathaveyou. I bought a long rastafarian wig from target, and I've wired up a few of the dreads as a start. the plan is to do them all and somehow make them look like snakes.

Any advice on how to do that? )

Hi... I wish to disguise myself as willy Wonka for Halloween but I can't fit in the sizes that the purchased costumes come from =\ Can someone point me in the direction for making the hat and coat? I can manage the rest I think

Thanks

so the other day i made a record bowl but somehow forgot to take the precautions necessary to make sure that it doesn't drip too much. so it ended up dripping to high heaven, and i actually really like the results. it looks kind of alien-ish, and as seen below, you can keep rings on the weird antennae shaped things!

I am working on the crochet pattern found here and I have run into a bit of confusion.

I am beginning Row 17. It starts like this:
Row 17--Skip ch. 4, 1 long tr. in next long tr., work even to within 2 meshes of end, ch. 4; ...
What does "work even" mean?

Thanks for any help you can give.
