My boyfriend had surgery this morning, so I spent my evening making him a monster to snuggle with while he heals.

Dose anyone have any hobby lobby coupons that isn’t the “artist book” one that is on their site?

I'd like to make a top hat like the one above but I can't figure out how to achieve the curve going down? Any suggestions on how to go about this would be helpful. Thanks! ♥

Hey craftgrrls (and byys!) I'm going to be going to Chicago for the first time EVER this weekend (crazy, I know, I've been to New York and Toronto, but never Chicago, and I live one state over!)

Any craft venues I need to see, like I really, really need to see?  I plan on going to the cultural center and art museum for inspiration..

Sorry for another text only post, but I'm leaving in a few hours!  Thanks in advance!

A few years ago, I bought a wonderful duffel bag-style bubblegum pink purse from Target.
It was majorly on sale... About $4.
So, I've used it ever summer since because it's so handy...
Just the right size.
A great amout of perfect sized pockets.

Hi! Sorry for a text-only post but I've recently gained alot of Amazon.co.uk vouchers & want to buy some crafty books :D

I recently got The Crafter's Companion & absolutely adore it - I think I've made more from just feeling inspired by the pictures of other peoples crafts & craft areas than using the actual projects!
I also got The Crafter Culture Handbook.

I'm looking for craft/inspirational books along the same lines as those. I'd prefer books which cover more than one craft but I don't mind sewing/stitching/crocheting/paper-oriented craft books too :)

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!

Having been a silent lurker for far too long I thought it was time I posted something of my own. I made this little wristlet on my brand-spanking-new machine as a sort of trial run to make sure I could do all the basics. I used this tutorial.

I had the idea that it would be neat to make a custom dry erase board. I wanted to create my own image in Photoshop. A blank calendar type template (so basically 31 boxes and a spot to write the current month). This all I can do on my own. My question is, what could I laminate the printout with to make it so I can use regular dry erase markers on it?

Thanks in advance. :3

[edit:] I found something that I already had that works! I have a roll of that clear paper that's used to cover textbooks. The dry erase markers I have seem to wipe off fine.

I needed something Harry related to wear to the book release!
I did make a shirt, but it was slightly crooked.
