I'm looking for the plastic cameos everyone seems to be using now. The skulls and the pirate heads. Does anyone have a source they'd like to share on where to get these? I've seen them on ebay, and I'm ok with ebay, but I want a wide selection of designs for of course, cheap.

I've been sewing, screenprinting, molding, painting, stamping, and all kinds of ridiculousness for weeks now. This is one of the products of my ridiculousness:

What wouldst thou now? )

Oh! I made a bunch of notecards and more of those matchbook noteooks, too.

See a theme starting to form? Haha... )

Finally I get some time to SEW (and use up all the fabric i've been buying like it's going out of style)

I want to make my own wedding invitations but I'm having a hard time finding ideas for something REALLY interesting. I'll only need to send out about 20 so I'll spend up to but no more than $5 a piece. DVDs are out. I'm thinking like sending a scroll in a tube or something in a small box... I really don't know - can you guys give any ideas or send me to some websites with ideas? I'm normally really really creative, but I'm stuck with this one.

I'm willing to sew, glue, stamp, bead, and even hammer if necessary.

When I lived in the apartments my BF and RM decided to put a poster under the glass of my coffee table which made it look very cheesy and the color was brown which looked gross. So I gave it a makeover.

セータを着たほのぽのくまさん

「はじめまして!小さいくまです。よろしく!」と言っている。
He is saying, "Hello! I'm a tiny bear. Pleased to meet you!"

セータを着たほのぽのくまさん (seta wo kita honopono kuma san), or what I think roughly translates as, "heart-warming bear that wore a sweater". The pattern for this is available in the book あみぐるみの本 (amigurumi no hon, "amigurumi book"), ISBN4-8347-2487-5. A stash-busting project, which was perfect because I finished off little bits of wool I had in green, cream, and grey. This is project #39 of 50 crafty projects in 2007.

Also, I crocheted a cotton bath puff for holiday gift-giving at the end of this year.

I made this for my grandma who just had heart surgery. I found a beautiful toggle from michael's back when I worked there, and ended up using it as a pendant instead. The two leaf thingies are from a bracelet I had that broke.

So, I made a pinhead cushion.  What is the perfect match?

Ah, the lament puzzle box.

Dare to solve the puzzle?

Screen printed on felt.  Not quite perfect because it's supposed to be gold metallic paint on black felt, but I got the wrong paint  >,<

Today I decided to try felting and I think it came out pretty good!

I haven't produced anything worthy of showing to y'all, but my friend [livejournal.com profile] mbumby came over today with something that really needs to be shown off.

Three pictures under the cut )

As you can see, it's stitched on plastic canvas, holds many earrings, and has a built-in tray to catch anything that might fall. Each section is decorated with a symbol or initials to remind her of the person who gifted her with the item(s) in that section.
