So earlier this week my lovely 11 year old daughter got in trouble at her private school for the shirt she was wearing.  It not only came up above her belly button, but it also showed her bra through it.  Not good and I would have never let her out in it if I had seen it.  Someone else took her to school and I didn't see her until at Volleyball practice.

We took that shirt and went through her closet and found a few more.

This was a solution for two of them. Enjoy :)
The dirt/stain is right now finding its way out and if that doesn't work then a stream or waterfall of hearts and aligtors may be an answer.  We will see when we get there.

The only thing I really had to work on was the cake which is made out of non-bake clay, not polymer clay which meant I had to make it, wait for it to dry and then paint it with acrylics. It explains why it's not as professional looking as the polymer clay stuff, but I really couldn't justify going out and buying 3 Fimo colours for this thing. Maybe later, and I can always change individual charms.

Well I am kind of a newbie when it comes to sewing, and even more so when it comes to measurements, etc....so I thought this would be a great place to ask this question!

If I wanted to make a queen size duvet cover how many yards of fabric would I need to get (assuming I am only purchasing fabric for one side, as I plan on using a sheet for the 'back')??

I found some fabric I LOVE at Joanns but am at a total loss as of how much to purchase (and I don't wanna rely on their employees to know as last time I did that I was shorted 2 inches, which was a big deal as I was using the fabric to cover a canvas!!!Doh).:(

Thanks!

When I was young a woman at my grandmother's church knit and sold wonderful dolls at the church bazaar - I got a Dorothy and my sister got a Scarecrow, they were about 2 1/2' tall (thought they only sat). I would love to find such a pattern in either knit or crochet. I think making an Alice in Wonderland set, a Dr. Suess set and a Rocky Horror set, would be the best thing ever! However, I suck at creating patterns so would need something to base it on. All Google is providing me is doll clothes though.

Can anyone help me?

Where do you guys get your safety eyes?

have you found any suppliers online where you can buy them for decent prices?
i'm looking for the plain black ones.

I know where to get them in the city i live in but they sell them in packs of 4 in the store (last i went i was lucky to grab the last 2 packs of the size i wanted), and the store is on the opposite end of town, and off of the bus route, lol.

so it would be nice to buy online in bulk if i can.

I am trying to sew a skirt that is just regular kinda spandex fabric, with a metallicy type fabric underneath, that is like plasticly on front, like it is for a Halloween costume, but my machine won't sew that, the bobbin won't work.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make it work???
I don't really want to have to hand sew it.

I was rooting through my fabric scraps the other day and found a lot of fleece! Like...real big pieces, too! So I spazzed out and said. HEY. IWANNAHOODIE. And started this. Not enough to do a hood it turned out...but that means I can wear my cat hats with it =]

Me just being wierd started this. I LOVE ears on hats...so naturally I couldn't just make a PLAIN toboggan. Crochet'd.

These are my FAVORITE to make ^w^ This one was given to a friend in a trade. Also crochet.
I'm almost done with a black one, for halloween! +}

I would LOVE your comments/constructive criticism =]
I'm also working on a pair of goggles. Kind of 'steampunk'...ish. I'm hoping to find something orange for the lenses.
