If you have kids in sports and get a button as part of the picture package, you might be wondering what to do with them when the season has ended.

As part of NaPodPoMo (national podcast posting month - think NaNoWriMo but for podcasters) I recorded a video how to.

In the video I show you step by step how to turn that button into a Christmas ornament. Please excuse the cute little toddler noises as I'm demonstrating the craft. My 2 year old was "helping."

The video is 10:33 so I'm just going to link to it and you can view it at your leisure.

Ok, so, lately, I've been feeling extra creative...
Too creative for merely paint t-shirts, knitting scarves,
designing skirts and blouses, making soap and face masques or signing and writing music...
Creative enough to wake up in the middle of the night and wanting to paint...
On my bedroom walls.
I have no idea why I want to do this, but I do.
Just random quotes and feelings.
However...
I'm not sure how long I'll think this is a good idea.
So, is there a possibilty of a washable paint I could use?
My walls are painted a Tiffany & Co. turquoise with latex paint...
If not, I'll just use whatever I have lying around to channel my creativity.
I have extra paint from when I painted my room, so,
I suppose I can always just, paint over my bursts of inspiration...

After I successfully made my first plush animal (the bat), all the excitement went to my head and I plunged straight into my next project.

I wanted one of the amazing dragons from Reign of Fire. The shape and dimensions come from my doing a lot of sketching while staring at the movie's production photos. It's not exact, but close enough that I'm happy with it.

I made my husband, Nathaniel a shirt.

For anyone who plays Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas,
you may get the joke.
Maybe not.

What's some kind of stiff material that I could sew through easily?

Could i use the stiffened felt I see at michaels & things? Would that work?
