crafting supplies in turkey

I'm going to visit Turkey soon & would like to know about where to get craft supplies. I enjoy crochet & bookbinding especially but am also interested in jewellery making/knitting/working with recycled materials/other crafty things. So I guess I'm looking for yarn/craft stores & flea markets.

Also, could you estimate the cost if possible? I'm not sure where I'll be going but definitely to Istanbul & the Grand/Spice Bazaar.

I didn't know where else to ask this but I thought I'd just ask here! Any help is appreciated, thanks :)

Silversmithing, dremmel advice

 Hey all. I used to work with silver alot when I was in highschool and now I am looking to get set up at home. If any of you silversmith, I was wondering what you use for polishing? I have a dremmel, and was curious if any of you do, what attachments do you use, from getting out deep grooves to bringing the piece to a high luster. I also have a bench grinder if anyone has experience with those. thanks a  ton!

I made come candles recently and made the mistake of not laying down paper towels or anything to catch all the stray wax. Needless to say, my counter is quite a mess now. Is there anything I can spray that will break down the wax? Thanks in advance!

Origami chickadees?

Please help! I told my mom I'd make her some origami chickadee ornaments to give to her best friend for Xmas. I thought I'd be able to find instructions online, but I can't! Does anyone have a pattern, or know where I could find one? Even something similar, like this:

I've had a bad cold this past week and in an attempt to us my sick time productively (as productive as you can be without getting out of bed), I've gotten back into making wallets out of the huge collection of old maps, prints, papers, etc. that i own.

this most recent wallet I made out of a lovely damask felt paper I found a month or so ago. I have to say...I like it a lot.
